Sara Öhrvall is COO and part of the Executive Management Team of Axel Johnson AB, a leading Swedish family-owned group, with a major footprint in food, and with businesses spanning sectors as diverse as beauty, health and wellness, IT solutions and solar energy. Sara was previously Chief Transformation Officer and part of the Executive Management Team of SEB, responsible for digital development, sustainability and communications. Her experience also includes leading the digital transformation at the media publishing house Bonnier as Senior Vice President, Research & Development, creating the Cross Country concept as Product Development Director at Volvo Cars and being a Board Director of SEB, Bonnier News, Vinnova and Umeå University, among others. Sara was a co-founder of Mindmill Network, advising management teams on their digital transformation strategy, and the management consulting firm Differ. She is now also a Board Director of Axfood, Investor AB, Bonnier Books, an international advisory board member of Stockholm Resilience Center and the Chair of the Pontus Schultz Foundation, supporting sustainability and diversity initiatives. During six years, she was a tech columnist at Dagens Industri and she is the author of the recently launched book “Ditt Framtida Jag” (Your Future Self), about augmented humans.
