Cecilia Oldne is of Swedish origin, based in Mumbai since 2007. She has played a significant role in sparking the Indian Wine Revolution, placing India on the world wine map. Sula Vineyards which she has been instrumental in growing is today India’s largest wine producer with 65% market share, exporting to 30 countries. With 430,000 visitors in 2019 (in one year!) it is the most visited winery in the world. She is today a shareholder in Sula. Cecilia is an Angel Investor with focus on Tech. Bangalore based ‘GetMega’ (social real money gaming platform) which she invested in and became an advisor for in 2019 then had 10,000 subscribers. The platform today has 10 million subscribers well on track to hit 50 million this year. Another recent investment of her worth mentioning is London based consumer tech company ‘Nothing’. She is Amphora Portfolio Management’s Managing Partner for South East Asia & The Nordics. Amphora is a leading fine wine investment firm & a team of fine wine experts with sparkling financial markets backgrounds. With her team, she builds & manages bespoke fine wine portfolios for collectors, investors and wine enthusiasts. Cecilia is the Chairwoman of EU-India Business Council. A council connecting EU and India with focus on tech, entrepreneurship, innovation and female empowerment. She is also Sweden-India Business Council’s (SIBC) India representative & Senior Vice President. SIBC is one of the world’s most active country to country networks & the first choice network in the Sweden & India business corridor. SIBC is also the secretary for Sweden India Business Leaders’ Roundtable (ISBRLT), co-chaired by Marcus Wallenberg & Baba Kalyani. ISBRLT is an initiative by the respective Prime Ministers. Cecilia is the co founder of Visceral Fund. A fund focused on India’s 3D ecosystem, spanning games, experiences, gamefi, developers, creators, tools and platforms that are building for the next visceral version of the worlds’ internet and the metaverse. This woman also runs and heads up Sweden India Tech Community, SITEC. SITEC is a 150 people network (50/50 Sweden/India Men/Women) with representatives from Startup, SMEs, Large Corporates, Academia, Incubators, Media, Governmental Bodies, Investors and Influencers. Known for being a “culture architect”, she has been instrumental in the opening of Soho House Mumbai – Asia’s first Soho House. She today sits on the committee of the house and advices the team on strategy. She is also representing India on Soho House’s ‘Global Digital Board’. Cecilia raises capital for people & companies she believes in – from Broadcast Media, Web3, Life Science to Cyber Security. She is experienced in the boardroom & a Professional Independent Women Director. Cecilia co-founded Asian Wine Producers Association, to support Asian wineries in their set-up & growth.
