Åsa Sandberg is the food waste expert and former Country Manager for Too Good To Go – the world’s largest anti-food waste app and movement. TGTG fights food waste through an app connecting users with food places that have surplus food, and through initiatives such as educating in schools, changing the date labelling, inspiring and empowering households and collaborating with companies to drive change. Åsa is a well known moderator and keynote speaker. She is the co-founder of Nudging Sweden and has amongst many things worked with sustainability at Coop. Åsa has for many years been in leading positions in the TEDx community and is currently in the board for TEDxStockholm and the FoodWaste Association in Sweden. Over the years, she has started her own companies and been active in organizations that work for a better world by fighting injustice. Her latest venture is as co-founder and board member at OperationAid, a newly founded grassroots organization aiming to help Ukrainian refugees. They focus on transportation to and relocation in Sweden, assistance at border crossings for people stuck in queues, as well as fast response relief both in Poland in Ukraine.
