When Annika joined the Noma team in 2012, she had more experience working for the Central Intelligence Agency—where she interned while studying International Relations at Georgetown University—than in restaurants. The daughter of American diplomats, she had lived everywhere from Colorado to Sweden and had just left behind a consultancy in the defense industry. Over the course of the following decade, Annika would spearhead the development of our pop-ups around the world and serve as General Manager of the restaurant. In 2021, after earning an Executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School, she became the founding member of the Noma Projects team.
